What is Asylum?
Asylum is relief for a foreign national to remain in the U.S. under legal status because the foreign national has suffered past persecution in his home country or country of last habitual residence, or because the foreign national has a well founded fear of future persecution in his home country or country of last habitual residence and such persecution is based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group. |

Green Card kurası nedir?
Yeşil kart çekilişi, ABD'deye göç verenler ülkeler dışında ülke insanlarına göç imkanı sunmak amacıyla 1996 yılında hazırlnamıştır. ABD hükümeti bu çekilişle ülke nüfusunu çeşitlendirme gayesi taşımaktadır. ABD, her yıl düzenlediği DV programı ile 50,000 kişiye (göç verme oranı düşük ülkeler tercih edilmek üzere) daimi ikamet izni verir. DV vizesi için talihliler bilgisayarla yapılan bir çekilişle belirlenir.
Yeni bir düzenleme ile 2003 yılından itibaren yeşil kart başvuyruları yalnız internet üzerinden yapılmaktadır.
2009 çekilişine katılmak için www.dvlottery.state.gov adresinde Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form (EDV Entry Form) doldurarmak gereklidir. Başvuru formuna erişim 3 Ekim tarihinden itibaren mümkün olacaktır.
Bu yıldan itibaren müracaatçılar online başvuruşarına kendileri ve aile bireyleri için dijital fotoğraf ekleyecektir. Fotoğrafların özellikleri aşağıdaki gibi olmalıdır: |
